Over the Heel...

Heel less heels are the rage among forward, progressive, fashionistas. You've seen them on everyone from Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Rihanna, just to name a few. The fascination surrounding the mile-high, platform kicks is a bit wonder and part wow.

I'll admit that I am intrigued by the aerodynamic design and the lofty platforms, but I have resolved to pass on the trendy design unless a modest form is made. However, I understand that the platform is the support of the shoe but it is that very platform that is a problem for me. I'm 5'10 and wearing a 6 inch heel would make me 6'4. Therefore, unless I'm going to an NBA tea, I'll refrain from the mile high kicks.

They are cute though. In my dreams, I fancy a pair.

So dolls, are heel less heels a part of your footwear?

I don't have a pair but I wonder how it feels to walk in these....

they're gorgeous but I think I wouldn't be able to walk in them so I'll pass...

I'm intrigued by these too but I feel like me in those is just an accident waiting to happen, lol.

those are soooo stylish!! i don't know if i would be able to balance myself though especially with the ids always pulling me, lol!

hope you get well, and have a great wknd!

They are attention grabbing that's for sure. I could see myself buying a pair to wear at least once. Something to take me out of my comfort zone!

Hugs and Mocha,

Hey Girl,

I just have to say these shoes look DANGEROUS! I'd stick with my flats anyday ahaha

Also, thanks for the follow on my blog :D

I think I am going to pass on this...I need a heel and I am not the most well coordinated person out there.

I like the heel-less trend, but I'm not sure I could pull them off. Being that I am short though, the added height would work for me.

Whoa! I don't think I could pull those off, at all!! I'm 5'11" and even though I love being taller, 6 inches more would be a wee bit too much.

And I'm just not that fashion forward either. haha
Thanks for stopping by my blog. :)
have a great weekend

I would LOVE for somebody to gift them to me because I don’t want to buy ANYTHING that I can’t walk in! lol

I have two pair and I LOVE them!!!

Heel less heels are definitely attention grabber, but sometimes when I saw a woman wearing them I can feel that she's extremely unbalanced and uncomfortable. But again it's her choice to wear whatever she wants to wear :)

Of course you know I'm going to say yay! I wore mine for the 1st time Friday and was nervous at first. But they were comfy. I wasn't able to drive in them so I had to put on some flats, & I wasn't able to walk on brick or cobblestone, but fine on everything else. I wore them the full time at work and no issues. I will be buying another pair.

I'm gonna go with most of the comments. They are definitely eye catching but they scare me. I do want to try a pair on though.
