Superstitions are supernatural causalities on human subjects.
Here are a few popular ones:
- Friday the thirteenth is an unlucky day
- A rabbit's foot brings good luck
- To find a four-leaf clover is to find good luck
- If you walk under a ladder, you will have bad luck
- If a black cat crosses your path you will have bad luck
- To break a mirror will bring you seven years bad luck
- To open an umbrella in the house is to bring bad luck
- An itchy palm means money will come your way
- A beginner will always have good luck: beginner's luck
- A cat has nine lives
- Eating fish makes you smart
- Toads cause warts
- A cricket in the house brings good luck
Sounds familiar? Do you subscribe to any of these or know someone who does?

My palms always itch.....when the hub gets paid lol. A cricket in the house brings good luck that's a lie we had a bunch in our house and we have yet to see good luck. I don't usually believe in all that stuff but it does keep hope alive.
I know a LOT of people who subscribe to the superstition!! It's just a scary movie day for me lolll!

LOL I have heard all of these. I would like to believe they are true but I haven't found them to be...especially the itchy palm. ;)
Hey All,
The itchy palm brings money if you don't scratch it. If you scratch you lose. Never heard about the cricket though. Little itch brings little money under $100, big itch big money over $100 at least this is what I was told. Friday the 13th bad luck for people that believe it is bad luck
I avoid crossing the paths of black cats and breaking mirrors, to the day. Not really believing in superstitions on a whole. But I do respect the ones mentioned.
Tupac Shakur died on September 13, 1996 on a Friday and, I admit, that memory had me shook for awhile.
I cant say I believe!
