Music Review Monday - "Good Man" - Raphael Saadiq

"Good Man" - Raphael Saadiq

Raphael Saadiq is an underrated R&B sensation. He was once the front man for Tony Toni Tone and Lucy Pearl. He's a soulful, mysterious, low key personality who has given us solo hits such as: Sometimes, Never Give You Up, and Love That Girl.

Keep making hits, Raphael, because you have a loyal fan base.

I'm not sure why that video baffles me. I don't get it!!

I assume the message is that women don't appreciate the good men or good men get bad women. I like the song but the video is slightly odd.

I totally don't get it. But I kind of like it.

I don't quite get it either, but I kind of like it...btw.... you would look awesome in hats as well!

RS went a bit left with the video. It doesn't really match the song. @BR, it would be a tight squeeze, but I am trying to find a big floppy hat.

I have always loved Raphael Saadiq, since Tony Toni Tone! I think he is so underrated. I love this song as well. Great post as usual.

Thanks for sharing, it's my first time seeing this video! LOVE the song! I bought it on iTunes the minute I heard it.

I watched the video and tried to come up with a different point of view, I figured someone has got to get it. Well, it's not me, LOL! I don't get the video and the song is ok. I have to hear it again while I'm not concentrating so hard on trying to figure out how the two relate :-)

p.s would love to see what hat you choose!

I have always been a huge fan of Raphael Saadiq. Nice song...

Hmm, this is a slightly odd video. I like the beat of the song though. Thanks for sharing!

this is interesting! I'm not sure if I get the entire video, but very entertaining for work hehe
